Bloomin’ Marvellous!

Chester has been named as the region’s ‘best’ in the prestigious North West in Bloom Awards.

Beating off close competition from Wigan (which was named as Best Improved entry), the city impressed the judges with the quality of its new landscaping schemes, clean streets and community involvement. In addition to this impressive accolade, Chester Zoo also received a visit after winning the Chester in Bloom trophy for the second year on the run.

It would seem that the zoo can’t put a foot (or should we say "paw"?) wrong at the moment!
